Disable Sky Broadband Shield for IPTV (UK Guide)

The "Sky Shield" Problem

Sky Broadband enables a content filter by default called "Sky Shield". While intended to block adult content, it also aggressively blocks IPTV DNS requests.

How to Turn It Off

1. Go to sky.com and log in with your Sky ID.
2. Navigate to Broadband & Talk > Broadband Shield.
3. Scroll down and select Disable (or set to "18+").
4. Click Save.

Note: It may take 15 minutes for the settings to propagate to your router. Reboot your router afterwards.
