What are Hops?

When you connect to an IPTV server, your data jumps through multiple nodes (routers) across the internet. Each jump is a "hop." More hops = higher latency = higher chance of buffering.

Optimizing Your Route

You cannot control the internet, but you can control your entry point.

  • DNS: Changing to Cloudflare DNS (1.1.1.1) often finds a shorter path than your ISP's default DNS.
  • VPN Protocol: Use WireGuard instead of OpenVPN. WireGuard is leaner and establishes direct tunnels faster with fewer overheads.
