Free Up RAM on Samsung Tizen for IPTV

Samsung's Memory Problem

Samsung Smart TVs run Tizen OS, which is efficient but often ships with very little RAM (often just 1-2GB). Apps like IBO Player or Nanomid cache EPG data, filling this RAM quickly, leading to crashes.

The "Cold Boot" Fix

Turning your TV off with the remote only puts it in sleep mode. To clear the RAM:

1. While the TV is ON, hold the Power button on the remote for 5-10 seconds.
2. The Samsung logo will appear (reboot).
3. Alternatively, unplug the TV from the wall for 60 seconds.

Device Care App

Go to Settings > Support > Device Care. Select "Start Device Care" to free up memory and close background apps.
